Authors, please note that manuscripts must be prepared in accordance with "Instructions to Authors". All materials are assumed to be submitted exclusively unless otherwise stated, and must not have been published previously except in abstract form. Manuscripts will be subjected to prompt peer review and the editors reserve the right to edit papers in preparation for publication in the Journal of Microbiology, Immunology and Infection. Before sending a manuscript contributors are requested to check for the latest instructions available.

If an article is submitted electronically, there is no need to send a hard copy. However, please note that all photographs/illustrations sent electronically must be of high print resolution (at least 350 dpi and a width of 11 cm) e.g., either in 'eps' or 'jpg' format, or the original hardcopies of photographs/illustrations may be sent by mail to the . In addition, please fax or send the completed Copyright Transfer Assignment Form within 2 weeks of submission of the article.
